My name is Daniel Craig ( No, the other one) and I’m just a regular guy from the outskirts of South London.

I first discovered this whole make ‘money online thing’ back in 2009 when I was working full time as a gas heating engineer. A job which I was desperately trying to get out of. I had built a small property portfolio with my partner thinking that property would be the way to exit the 9-5 rat race. Actually it was more like 7-7 rat race. But because of the recession we were in at the time we didn’t feel confident to start investing in property so I looked for other ways to make some money.
I stumbled across a website and I remember the headline vividly ‘Discover how to make $50,000 a day with my system even if you’ve no experience’.

Yes that did say $50k,that wasn’t a typo .

After reading that I was hooked. I started buying all the $17 ebooks that I could get my hands on.

Each one promised to make me a millionaire overnight, there was always some guy who had ‘cracked the code’ of online riches and was revealing all for a limited time. (we’ve all seen them) or some guru who was retiring and revealing all his secrets for $27.

It didn’t take long for me to realise how much bullshit there is on the internet but I was convinced there was a money making opportunity somewhere.

2009-2010- I purchased around $1500 worth of pretty much ‘useless b.s products’ but I’ve caught the make money online bug so I’m not quitting.

2010-2011- I joined a community of affiliate marketers who are making a decent income online using CPA. I create my first website and start collecting leads for Life insurance and Health insurance companies. I made a fair few mistakes but I start to make regular  money, the best day was £280 (I remember it well as it was the same day as the riots in London) but unfortunately this venture came to an end.

The leads I was generating were paid at the end of the following month but all the traffic was coming from Google Adwords. The way that Adwords worked at the time was as soon as your ad spend hit £500 Google would take their money and if you’ve ever used Adwords before you will know this doesn’t take long (I once spent £300 in half an hour bidding on the wrong keyword) so I couldn’t sustain the ad spend.

I paused the campaigns and look to getting a credit card and just make the minimum payment but
I kept getting refused credit. After checking my credit score (which was excellent) I couldn’t understand why i couldn’t get a credit card.

After days of searching it then materialised that I had a county court judgement out against me under one of my rental properties addresses because one of my tenants had run away without paying a water bill. The water company in their infinite wisdom decided they couldn’t be bothered to chase my tenant so they took the judgement out on me.

After 14 months of battling I managed to get the judgement squashed.

2012- Back to square one. There’s lots of hype about creating and selling your own info products which I had
purposely avoided due to my limited technical skills so I decide to get a mentor and join a $5000 coaching program to ensure I have the support I need.
‘This is it’ I said to myself. A  52 week program, 52 weekly training modules inside a dedicated member’s area with a coaching call every week to answer any questions you may have.

‘We don’t end the calls until all questions are answered’ I was told. Turns out that wasn’t strictly true. It was more like ‘We answer all questions provided the call isn’t longer than an hour’
I left a few calls with unanswered questions then after emailing support I was told to wait until next week’s call. Sometimes maybe it’s better to try and find the answer yourself rather than wait.
My Momentum got destroyed. The 52 weeks came to an end and I have a half-done product, half-written sales page and more confused than when I started.

I did however make some drips of money setting up review sites for Clickbank products but nothing to write home about.

2013-2015-I join another coaching program to help me finish my product. An absolutely fantastic community of people with great support but unfortunately this is where I disappeared in IM oblivion.

Trying to get my product perfect was the biggest mistake I made. It took around 18 months to get ready for launch and during launch week I finally started to see some money coming in and my email list building. However this is when I discovered that the launch model really isn’t for me (wish I would have discovered that sooner) and after launch week things just kind of fizzled out.

I sent a couple of emails to my newly built list, made some commissions but again nothing amazing and the thought
of creating another product just didn’t sit well with me so again back to square one.

2015-early 2016- Shiny object syndrome is back with a vengeance. But now i’m buying expensive courses and coaching programs.

Some good, some not so great but each one ends in the same result. Nothing.

I am not blaming anyone else for my situation I am taking full responsibility for where I am. I am part of some
great communities regardless of the fact they haven’t benefited me much yet but I am convinced they will in the future.

I forgot to mention that during this roller coaster to online riches  I have left my employer and built a successful
gas heating company, had two children (two beautiful girls who I absolutely dote on), supported my partners on-going battle with anxiety and depression, dealt with some quite serious alcohol related issues, numerous brushes with the VAT man (one resulting in an unexpected £20k bill) ,trained and achieved a black belt in Choi Kwang Do martial arts and dealt with all the other trials and tribulations that we all have to deal with on a daily basis.

So. This leads to where I am right now.

I have discovered that the reason for my bouncing around quite unsuccessfully is two things FOCUS and TIME.

It’s not that I don’t have enough time we all have the same 24 hours It’s that I don’t dedicate enough of it to my online ventures to make them succesful.

After doing a 13 hour day by the time I open the laptop to begin I can barely keep my eyes open. I can’t count the amount of times my partner has found me face down on my keyboard at the kitchen table.

I have made the bold (or stupid, only time will tell) decision to sell my residential property and relocate to a new area. But rather than do the usual thing of buy a bigger house with a bigger mortgage and keep working all the hours to pay for everything we are moving into rented accommodation and using our equity for 2 things.

1) Buy some more rental properties (a massive passion of mine and something I’ve always wanted to do)

2) Close down my gas company and focus full time on my online business.

One of the reasons for relocating(Obviously the main reason is schools for my children they aren’t great where we live at the moment) is so I am unable to physically keep doing the work I’m doing now in the gas industry.

I have found I work best when my back is against the wall, I discovered this in 2011 when the company I was sub-contracting to let me go without warning and I  had absolutely no work. I was creeping closer and closer to my overdraft limit, this is a scary position to be in and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

I HAD to go out pounding the streets looking for work. I persevered, refused to take no for an answer and within two weeks I had more work than I could handle.

Taking my income away will drive me to the online success that I believe deep down I can achieve. If I didn’t believe it I wouldn’t still be doing it

I have learnt a lot about myself in the past few years. I’m not a quitter, I have a ridiculous work ethic with an relentless want for success and the most important thing to me is my family.

They are the reason I do all of this, the reason why I get up in the morning.

Don’t get me wrong I do want the big house, the nice car and everything else that comes with the ‘millionaire lifestyle’ but my family are the single most important thing in my life.

So. I invite you to follow me on my journey I will be documenting everything on this blog so if I fail it will be online
for all to see.

Which to me makes failure not an option.

I am focusing primarily on affiliate marketing but I am looking to create my own products further down the road. My goal is to be earning a minimum of $5000 regular income per month by the end of this year.

lets crack on…..

Feel free to leave me a comment below, even if it’s to tell me you think i’m crazy.
